If variety is the spice of life, The Campfire Poets are loaded with flavour.
Hailing from Dufferin County, Ontario, ‘The Poets’ have played every occasion possible and are always a huge success. Specializing in Parties, Weddings and Corporate Functions, The Campfire Poets have the experience to entertain and involve any crowd.

Great parties need great music and this band delivers 5 decades of classics from several genres. Jason Mraz to Lynard Skynard, AC/DC to Great Big Sea, Bob Marley to Johnny Cash. Rock to blues to reggae to country to celtic, all cooked up by a dynamic, high energy 5 piece band.

The Campfire Poet's all groove, dance floor filling rhythm section features Scott "Hollywood" Bruyea on drums and Steve Batenchuk on bass. Guitar fans love Ryan Hancock and Dennis Hahn on keyboards brings an entirely new sound to the band. Enthusiastic and charismatic Geoff Canlett fronts this vocally strong act that usually manages to recruit the entire audience as back up singers.

And their audiences have been growing. From their start in small pubs, 'The Poets' have become a favourite of the summer festivals including Caledon's Canada day celebration, Woodbridge Rib Fest, Inglewoodstock, Orangeville Blues and Jazz Festival and founder's day celebration.

Clubs, weddings, arena's and a growing list of corporate clients, including HSBC, Telus Mobility, Fallsview Casino, Burnside Engineering, Ontario Hydro and CTV, add to their more than 100 performances a year.

So why have The Campfire Poets made so many friends and fans?
Because they're fun and it's contagious.
